I'm amazed that there is no conversation about this film. Yes, it is low budget and yes, part of the fun of the picture is seeing the beautiful girls dance topless, but I also think there is some good acting and writing on display here.
Rick Dean does a great job as a pycho that you would never want to meet and Maria Ford is wonderful as his obsession. Her acting is great, but she is also hot both on stage as a stripper and in the scenes as she moves though her everyday life (I particlarly taken with the outfit she is wearing in the video store scene).
I was also entranced by the performance of Ann-Marie Holman as the pretty, quiet Kitten. This is apparently the only film she ever acted in and I suspect she is/was a stripper in real life. A little internet research tells me that "Ann-Marie Holman is an Elvis impersonator and burlesque performer who is currently on hiatus from the Critical Studies/Experimental Practices graduate program in music at UCSD." It also sounds like she is the Wholesale Representative for a company named the stockroom.com a business specializing in B&D equipment. It is ashame that she didn't do any more movies, I would have loved to checked them out.
All and all this a much better film than many more expense productions I've seen recently.
