watch Street Fighter II: V it better

First off its not so cartoonish(yes i know its anime) its slightly darker as dark as a sf anime can be,and vega is really creepy.it doesn't have to cram 2 million character into 1:38mins. sfII good but sfIIv is better also bison doens't have his truckers licence. i don't think he intend to run ryu and ken over he was just helping rose move some furniture. there are a lot akuma cameos like when he standing in the airport talking to another guy like he normal or something

You know I could really rip you on this right but I won't. You haven't seen the whole series so your comments don't matter. 3 episodes it doens't tell you sh*t. The street fighter movie is average at best. Just don't comment on anything until you've seen it all idiot. "Your massive level of idiocy, balanced out by your low level of literacy, have effectively destroyed any chance of you getting a serious reponse" You got some nerve I seriously doubt your smarter then me. I would prove how the series is better but I don't have the time unfortunately. OH! yea I can tell by your numerous amount of post that your a lame try getting a social life. It's nice

FYI, SFIIv does get better as it moves along; however, I do fully agree with you that the original anime is superior to the V series. Plot variations aside, the biggest fault of V is the fact that the director thinks he's Sergio Leone, but he's not. Instead of lingering on style and impressive visuals a la Leone, we essential get time-killers to fit the massive running time of the series.

I have no idea where the original poster got the impression that V is "darker" than the animated movie. The younger version of the characters in V presents comes across as more kiddy-friendly, colorful, not to mention childish. V doesn't even become remotely dark until the halfway point, and even then it might be comparable to the animated movie.

I beg to differ. SFII:V was more drawn out, but the character motivaions were wrong and the art was horrid (why did Ryu look like Gohan from Dragon Ball?). I never even finished that whole series, I bought the first DVD and quit while I was ahead...

I agree, SFIIV was better than the movie, it was great. I didn't like how they didn't have all 16 of the fighters (Blanka would've been great) and my other complaint about it is that it was drawn out towards the end. Every episode added something and it progressed nicely until Ken got captured, then it becomes drawn out like DBZ and you have 5 eps of Ken trying to escape his bed and going on about Chun Li, etc. Overall though, the best SF, I like it better than this movie, SFA, SFAG, the live action, and the American cartoon.

The only faults with Sreet Fighter 2v were those dramatic 30 second parts where something happens, the characters all intensley stare at each other like a mexican stand off with dramatic music in the backround, awwww they were irritating.
But aside from those, greats series for us true fans, even though the storyline did differ from street fighter 2 world warrior, it was still interesting. Vega had to be the best character in the series ! however they shouldnt have made zangief into the joke character, and there is emotion and feeling in that series.

Lol at the original poster's post, I was in stitches after reading that. about Bison helping Rose move furniture etc.

However unfortunately I disagree and I think the animated movie is better than SFII: V. The latter was ok but the fact that they did in like 12(?) episodes or something was completely evil they could have fit it all into like 2 episodes or 3. The first 10 minutes of an episode basically show you what happened in the previous episode, and then you get 8 minutes of Ryu lying down on the beech for an entire evening because he's tired after shooting one hadouken, and then at the best of times a 2 minute fight sequence at the end. I still did enjoy it overall though, and it is WAY better than the Street Fighter Alpha 2 movie (the one where Ryu spars with Sakura) and fights Gouki (Akuma) at the end, that anime was absolute *beep*
