Yeah, I'd definitely have to go with Chun-Li vs. Vega. Not to take away from all the other fight sequences in the movie, but that one just had everything right.

Im not sure how people consider the chun li fight the best? Its a nice bit of animation for sure but all in all its chun getting cut throwing a couch and doing her Hyakuretsu Kyaku.
All thats cool, but i cant understand how thats thought to even compare to the Ken, Ryu vs. Vega or even the Sagat vs Ryu fights. Im interested, what makes the chun fight so amazing to everyone?
Hey, I always wondered about that, too. In terms of techniques and so on I clearly prefer the Ryu/Fei Long fight, there they do some cool moves...
the special thing about the ChunLi fight is in my opinion just the overall atmosphere. She, alone in her appartment, all quiet, and then out of the blue BADANG! I think that's it. the change from all quiet to all over intense. the music does a pretty good effort to, even a 'key'-effort if you ask me...obviously I'm reffering to the US score version.
and then, there also are a lot of bouncing boobs shots in there... hehe;)
but well, I also wouldn't consider the ChunLi fight to be the best one.
I think it's the best fight due to the desperation she shows throughout the fight- she knows she's not really good enough to be facing Vega on her own! The camel toe shots help too!
I think the best fight is Ryu Vs Sagat at the start though as that builds the tension quite well.
My favourite is the Ryu vs Fei Long. Then it's the Sagat vs Ryu at the start.
shareDefinetly Chunli versus Vega. I think people like that one the best because it adds realism to the techniques that the others dont. The other fights are pretty outlandish and like the video games, While chunli's fight felt like we were watching a movie or something.
Like previously said, the emotion chunli shows, the use of (and destruction) of her apartment....all these factors helped to make that scene real. Also some great acrobatic moves were used, and they didnt go overboard with the characters signiture moves.

And for those of you who say the Chun Li vs Vega fight because it's more realistic...no. All the fights in this movie have something supernatural about them. But the Chun Li/Vega fight disgusts me the most. Chun Li runs up a wall, pauses, then springs off of it... she somehow jumps up to the ceiling boards and runs around...vega catches her by her feet with his feet and magically springs her back up into the air (yeah, and dont tell me you can do that because you cant)... then she kicks dude in th face and sends him through a concrete wall. A kick that strong would blow off your head. A great fight scene but hardly realistic.

I liked Zangief VS Blanka. Although it was short it was brutal & it showed every move that blanka has.
I just wish i had have been given a few minutes and not just a minute.
