The Silence of the Lambs (1991) vs Se7en (1995)
which is better?
shareI'm partial to silence of the lambs. I saw it in theaters when I was 9 and it captured my imagination better. It's more realistic in its setting (it feels like a wet fall day through the film). And, the characters are more interesting.
Se7en has better style. It just loses out. Because of when I saw it really.
7ilence of 7he 7ambs
shareThey are equal in my book.
shareTough call in my book.
Incidentally, did you people notice both films are scored by the same composer, Howard Shore?
Not that that should be terribly surprising.
Silence of the Lambs by far. It had a much more realistic feel. Se7en was too stylized. It was impossible to get immersed in the story. I remember seeing it in the theater and feeling like I was watching a music video without the music.
