In my opinion the types should be the way they are resented - higher type is nore intelligent and sophisticated.

Type 1: what we see kill the poor NEP at beginning.
Type 1 revised: reptile stuff.
Type 2: the teddy, coming along with
Type 3: The kid.
The wounded soldier as type 2 was a lie from another screamer in order to confuze them.
Type 4: the warrior robot, i dont remember the name if the guy who hasd tear tattooed near his eye and the angry woman in the end.
Type 5: the one that can comprehend feelings.

Just my view tho.

That's entirely possible. The one main problem with it is that Ross -- who is human -- tells Hendricksson about the Type 2, so the information may be reliable.

I think the ambiguity and confusion regarding the different types is intentional and its a nod to Philip Dick's work, where often times the themes of paranoia and who is or isn't human is very central in his stories.
