Yes the girls have lots of power, but TM (aka the man) always has to come in and save the day
How does he save the day? Yeah he distracts the villains sometimes. But its still the Sailor Scouts who do the majority of the fighting and finish of the villains. That would be like a basketball player coming off the bench for a team and having a good performance. And when the game ends the bench player gets all the credit. Instead of the Star player who scored 40 points and played the majority of the game. Thats a silly notion.
I also don't get how its depowering females when the Sailor Scouts are helped out by someone that just happens to be a man?
This type of complaint always seem to pop up in shows centered around Heroines. It happened in Buffy when ever she receives help from Xander or Angel. But when its the other way around its okay.
Take for example a similar show like Ronin Warriors. On that show whenever they are in trouble they are helped by The Ancient one, their pet tiger, or Mia their female companion. I don't see anyone suggesting that its depowering to any of them for being helped out.
Their is no point arguing around it. Because its a blatant double standard.
