When did you discover the Japanese version aka the better show?

I only really started to get into the Japanese version after watching the R movie with the subtitles. It just blew me away. None of the characters were dumbed down or Americanized like they were in the one I grew up with, and the last scene with the Moon Revenge song was totally epic. After watching that I knew the real unedited show would totally be worth watching.

So how about you?

Probably months ago. I ain't gone lie, I was rolling at some of the quotes. Especially Rei's quote when Usagi and Mamoru found out Chibiusa was their daughter, "What year, month, and day did that happen?!" Too bad DIC cut that quote out.
