It is a revamped, renovated anime design and looks good to me. However, I have to point out two things with a grain of salt:
1) the girls are way too thin. Look at their legs, it is as if they are skin and bone. That aspect of designs in the original anime were much more natural.
2) why do they have to wear lipstick? It is subtle, but it was not necessary. One of the reasons I liked the first anime was becuase it was a girls show without lipstick, where the girls were natural.
This is not a huge burden, just a minor complaint. Overall, they look good.
1) I agree. This sometimes crept up in the anime depending on who was directing that episode (there's one Stars episode where everyone is off-model with ridiculously long legs). I hope in animated form this is toned down a bit. It makes Jupiter look like she has huge feet. And Ami is positively swimming in her clothes, like she spends so much time studying she forgot to eat! I'm worried that after cram school her parents lock her in a basement or something.
2) I think the lipstick is a nod to the manga designs, where they had it when they transformed. There was a teeny bit of that in the manga, but not really. However, it's hard to tell if in their "normal" designs that's lipstick or just coloring to suggest normal natural lips. At least on Usagi there seems to be a notable difference between normal Usagi and Sailor Moon regarding lipstick.
But I'm at least excited that this is finally happening and I hope it's worth it.

I like them. Very much in line with the Manga.
Killing must feel good to God too, he does it all the time, and are we not created in his image?
A lot of little things are bothering me here. Is it just me or do their feet look like hooves? What bothers me also is that while their thighs and chests are full their calves and ankles are non existent. The symmetry of their eyes seem a bit off to me as well. I think they made Makoto look really funny looking too. Is it just me or does this kind of seem like a throwback to 70's anime? For some reason it is kind of reminding me of Candy Candy.
