I've been hearing around the internet that there are going to only be 26 episode in the new anime. Is this true? I realize the original subbed and dubbed anime have a bit of filler, and it's going by the manga, but it seems they'll need more than 26 episodes still.

That's what I was wondering. I was under the impression the show was going to be over the entire manga, which is why I asked if it was really only going to have 26 episodes because that seems way too short for all the volumes.

That brings my excitement level way down...It's also not going to be in english from what I've read. v.v Ah, oh well, at least the original subbed is coming out again.

shareMeh. I'm disappointed if all we get is just the first arc and nothing past that. We've had a couple of rehashes of the Queen Beryl storyline, so I'd like to see something else get remade.
shareNaturally they're going to do one season to start with. And then, if the show is successful enough, they'll continue further into the story.
