I stayed up late to watch it online, and I'm glad to say that the new show didn't disappoint. Usagi/Sailor Moon wasn't too much of a crybaby like the original, and she seems like she'll mature quickly. Mamoru/Tuxedo Mask is also less mean, and he and Usagi seemed to have sensed a connection right away, which I really liked.

It was extremely well drawn. Simply stunning in the way that it looked. It really was simply the first episode of the original show, but made to look WAY better.
Yes, there is a bit more of a connection with Usagi and Mamoru. Also, Mamoru didn't get as involved in the fight as he did in the first episode of the original show. I didn't see any rose. I hope he still has them.
The show seemed to also suggest that the Youma was created by Jadeite and wasn't actually a living creature of its own right. I'll be interested to see if anything is done with that.
All and all, great so far!

I watched it on Hulu and this might be a one time thing but they had it commercial free. I absolutely loved it.
shareI dunno how I felt about it. I mean what I loved about the original were the klutzy moments and funny facial expressions which I didnt really see in this remake but maybe its too early to judge. Oh and Darien wearing a tuxedo in the middle of the day was strange...
