The Christian religious figure is refereed to in the Subtitles as a Pastor. Which interests me because Japan is generally unaware of Non-Catholic Christianity. But I think I recall the old Dub calling him a Priest, so I'm confused?

I don't believe the old dub referred to him as anything at all. I'm not sure what the old subtitles referred to him as.

Anyway, Catholic priests are also called pastors or celebrants, so not big deal.
