they chopped of the last scene!

I just watched this on TV this week again. The ding dongs at Central Think cut the last scene off, the one where it is clear Rob Roy has fully accepted the child produced by his wife's rape into his family. That is a huge final point made about the character of this man, and also a final point in a main thread of the plot-and they left it off! I smite thee-and dang you, you office shmudgins!

That's not the last scene. It's earlier in the film.

That scene happens when he's in his ottage, preparing to go face off with Cunningham, just before he walks out the door. The final scene is his solo return, wife runs to his arms, idyllic scenerey, etc.
