I also liked his brief but MUCH nobler performance in BRAVEHEART 1995. He plays William Wallace's/Mel Gibson's uncle in that film.
Brian also makes a great Hannibal Lechter in the film MANHUNTER, long before Anthony Hopkins had the role.
Brian Cox is a most versatile actor.
