No kidding. Jeremy had a lot going for him and was pissing it away. It was discovered he was genius, so why was he going to a piddly, podunk high school? Shouldn't he have been working at an ivy league college or bffs with Steve Hawkings? He had the power to read minds and resurrect the dead but did nothing with that either? Wtff

You're right, he was, and he couldn't handle man's inhumanity. I thought it was an exceptional movie.
