I was just wondering when Powder was running through the field and then vaporized, his life force passed through the three that were chasing him - When this happened, one stared in awe, one was laughing and one was crying. Why was this?
shareThis is me guessing but I think that it was mostly raw emotion from what they had experienced from him before. The Sheriff laughed because he was able to physically feel the way his wife left... And it made him joyous. The teacher was in awe because he realized that Jeremy had become pure energy like Einstein predicted we could. The principal cried over the loss of him but later smiled because she realized he was in a better place. I would like to think that the deputy that was there too might have found a little forgiveness... But that is just me.
