This was a family favorite when I was a kid. We all loved this movie. IDK why it has such a low rating.

I saw this years ago and watched today just to see the deer scene and the moving scene when Jeremy talks for the dying wife. Gets me every time. The guy who played the sheriff showed real emotion but not in a sappy way. I even cry at the end seeing his face. I also don't know why it only gets one star. I don't understand why Jeremy was put in that boys' home with those misfits.
