Teeny became Jane Burnham in American Beauty!

As a fan of this movie, I just had a theory that maybe Teena Turcell became Jane Burnham in the acclaimed classic "American Beauty!"

For instance, aside from the fact that both roles are played by Thora Birch, both characters share a lot of similarities;
- Both are only children.
- Both have a cold, distant, and bitter relationship with their arrogant, neglectful parents!
- Both are self conscious about the size of their boobs!

If Teena traded in her flirtatious, girly style for an angsty, Gothic one, she could totally pass as a much younger version of Jane Burnham!

Yeah and if she got a sex change operation and a top hat she could totally be Abraham Lincoln too! What are you smoking? Teeny is nothing like Jane Burnham (and when was Jane ever " self conscious" about the size of her boobs exactly? She knew they were big and showed them off as I recall). Just because the characters are both played by the same actress doesnt mean they are anything alike. In fact they are like complete opposites. Jane is the "plain Jane" to Mena Suvari's ditzy irresistible Angela. If anything, Tenny is more like Angela, the gorgeous blonde who wants to be noticed by guys. But then Teeny has common sense and is a decent person even if she does appear to be a shallow celebrity at first. So Tina isnt like any of them. And shes nothing like Enid either before you go there. More like Rebecca. This role was definitely the opposite of Birch's two most famous roles. In fact having seen American Beauty and Ghost World before I saw this, it was definitely weird seeing Birch acting like such a superficial fame crazy attention seeker.
