LOL, I forget his name, but the dude shooting at Jason don't need a gun. He couldn't have been no more than 10 feet away and he missed about 5 times.

It was the same guy that thought he was cool on the scooter too!!

They were friends by association at the beginning, but as Jason's world spiraled out of control, he lost the ability to relate to his friends, and even his sister to a degree.

Richie was riding around with Jason's sister in the stolen car when he knew that Jason was against that. Then he intervened when Jason was talking to his sister, resulting in a beatdown in front of all their friends, I take it as Richie was just sending a message to Jason because he was too close to him to not hit him with a shot, and he knew that Jason was from the hood BUT wasn't the type to get a gun and come back for him.
