sharehey don't laugh too much. Remember in 1997 they made the sequel Speed 2 Cruise Control which was another horrible idea and a rightful flop. The premise of Speed 2 wasn't much better than this persons 'brilliant' Money Train 2 plot. From what I recall, Sandra Bullock is on a cruise ship which is being hijacked and everyone aboard is in terrible danger for some reason or another. I saw part of it on a premium cable channel one night and couldn't watch it all. Keanu Reeves was wise to not sign-on again for that one! :)

but the title "Speed" doesnt refer to an actual means of transportation..it could be anything so im fine with that title..but TRAIN is in the title so it makes NO SENSE to be on a BOAT!!

"Money train" is also a slang term for pretty much anything that brings money in (not necessarily a physical vehicle)... I was actually surprised that this film was actually about a train when I saw it.. I didn't realize the title was literal.
