recent HBO broadcast missing a scene? (spoilers)

Maybe it's my faulty memory since it's been many years since I watched this flick, but wasn't there a scene showing Nix's followers being called to his resurrection? Or have I confused it with another movie? I recorded it off HBO the other day and there was no such scene.

I think HBO aired the non-director's cut which is really a shame since I always found that scene a key element in the storyline.

I'm watching it now on HBO. The version they're running is 1 hour 50 min and the director's cut is 120 min, so it's definitely missing great scene near the end I'm vaguely recalling. I haven't seen this movie in over ten years.

That scene MADE the movie, IMO. That's what made it stick in my memory even though it wasn't that good of a movie. It was indeed chilling. Glad my memory wasn't failing me. :-)

One of the coolest scenes is the one where Nix' cult followers prepare for his resurrections, collecting their things, killing their non-cultist relatives and cutting their hair in the most creepy way.
