I knew that Sir Ian Holm wasn't Scottish, so I came to see how many other cast members were... and what I found pretty much explains why the accents suck worse than Scotty's on Star Trek.

people say that about every film, the accents are fine.

it is done because the rest of the world cannot understand a true Scottish accent (I am Scottish)
