I've gotta say it was pretty amazing how the slender Nic Cage got so pumped up for this movie. Then he continued the trend in Con Air. Does anyone know how long he trained for?

That's what struck my curiousity when I rented it from work...It looked like a roll that I hadn't seen Cage perform in most of his movies already...
