So at the end... exactly what happend? was the DA crooked? like the tape and all... did that like prove he was bad? and any theories on what happend to Nic cage at the end? and finally! why could nic cage get let off all those times?
shareThe DA decided to not prosecute Little Junior the first time in return for a judgeship from the feds, that's why Little Junior was cut loose. The tape of the DA was blackmail to get him to prosecute Little Junior for real this time and have him serve a full sentence, because the DA doesn't want people to find out that he let a criminal go just to provide himself with a higher rank.
