Loved the END! (spoilers)

Caruso just says "No" and walks away from the whole situation! It was so anti-climatic considering the seriouness and complexity of the situation that it was great!! Who agrees.

I'm assuming no one agrees, due to teh fact you put this up a year and half ago and no one has responded. The ending freaking sucked man!

Wht about dat job i did for ju in Freedom Town Da Rebenga hit, wht was dat a game of dominoes, mang?

reply

Yes, I noticed that no one else responded. Perhaps they don't agree....

I really don't care though, I thought him just slapping the tape in his hand and saying good luck on your own was anti-climatic but funny as hell!

F that. It WAS a good ending. I saw this movie last year for the first time since it came out in '95 and watched it tonight for the thrid time and I noticed I like it better each time I see it. The first time I saw it it didn't really click. It came out in a time where high powered movies like Leon, True Romance and Pulp Fiction ruled the crime genre and Kiss Of Death felt a bit sober and not as flashy as those movies. But I was positively surprised how well it still holds up in 2010. It's the soberness and classic storytelling without any flashy 90's tricks that make it a it timeless. It's still not a supermovie or anything but a nice little grim gangsterflick with great actors. :-)

I just made a post about how this film didn't give the audience what it wanted whih is the most intriguing aspect of the film by far.
