Everytime this comes on TV, I stop to watch it. There's something repelling and yet fascinating about Caruso and Cage in this oddball crime flick, and it is a decided improvement over the original with (non)actor Victor Mature in the Caruso role. We all wait for the final bar confrontation, I am sure. Crazy Cage is magnificent in this scene. And Caruso takes a helluva beating.

It is so weird and "off"... all these big name dudes not doing anything... and the film oozes addictive atmosphere and appeal and makes you expect something amazing will happen though t never does.. the film builds and buils but ultimately doesn't give the audience anything that it wants... yet remain a fascinating and strange lil flick... un flic ever..
