No Oscar for Leo?

Yes he was completely repulsive in the film but he brilliant portrayed the character. This is what acting is about : believable character creation. Why no awards for him?

This was an alternative film before Larry Clark became more mainstream. It was shut out of the Oscars.

I knew Leo Fitzpatrick way back. He’s a nice guy but Kids cracked his career. He was one of those guys who really wanted to become famous and a movie star. Kids held him back.
