A who killed blair sullivans paretns?
b why did blair take the blamee so bobby earl could get out,
#1--Bobby Earl killed Blaire Sullivan's parents
#2--They had an agreement and worked up the scheme....Blair knew he would never get out of prison. He hated his parents and wanted them dead. He takes the blame and Bobby Earl gives him all of the pertinent information about the murder(where to find the murder weapon, etc.) to make it look like he (Blair) killed the girl. Bobby Earl is freed and to pay back Blair, he goes and kills his parents for him.
Isn't that how everyone else interpretted it????
That's how the plot works - Earl gets out to kill Sullivan's hated parents.
Doesn't explain why Earl would then go after the lawyer, the wife and the child though because he's risking the chair again.
I think it seemed obvious why. He blames this woman for ruining his life, while she was carelessly trying to further her career. He lost his scholarship, and was castrated in jail that night she had him held for. Yeah, I guess that might make someone want to kill you. It was all along about him wanting to get revenge against her.
shareIt's a case of contrivance after contrivance to try to manufacture "a big twist". The thing that gets me is that everyone should have been talking about his castration earlier, as there would be no way it wouldn't be on his prison record.
It was all along about him wanting to get revenge against her.Agreed, but he would have been better advised suing the Prisons Department for a lack of duty of care and getting a big payout.
