it's actually not bad.. looks pretty dated but the story is uncomfortable especially because of the 2O21 aspec and dangerous virus among the public.

I was one of the few who liked it when it came out, at least my memory is it was received poorly by both critics and the masses. A quick check of rottentomatoes backs me up: 12,31.

It's pretty bad/goofy, but if you like guilty pleasures, it's kind of fun. It was more flamboyant and cartoony than I expected. Like a hacker/techo version of The Fifth Element.
