A Keanu Reeves pre-Matrix sneak preview

Weak story, but it worked.

Dolphin Lundgren was the best part of this movie. I wish he and Keanu could've had more screen time together and a more stylized fight.

Ice-T did his usual best as a supporting character. New Jack City was his best work.

Dina Myer is an underrated actress, and here, she did a decent job for her first acting gig.

The SPFX were cool for a mid 90s movie, but the action was WAY UNDER AVERAGE. Keanu could've shot more guns, had a good car chase scene, and thrown some punches. Him being an anti-climactic protagonist really hurt the movie's flow. The future Yakuza were kind of wussies too.

I give this a 2.5 out of 5. Probably would've worked better as a sci-fi channel TV series.
