Ok, this movie somehow was stolen from a short story I wrote when I was in like first grade! Except mine was much better than this, hahaha. But seriously, all jokes aside, I wrote a story about a killer who had a jack o lantern for a head and he went after young kids, just like he did in this movie. Not to mention, the kid in the movie looked eerily like me at the age in which I wrote the story. I swear watching this was so surreal haha. I just wish I had some sort of proof that I came up with this idea before they did. Bah!

Your not the only one who thinks up a killer with a jack o latern story, theres actually two books that came out in late 80s about a man with a jack o latern on his head and theres actually another movie with a similar premise, even a friend thought of this for a short film he did, so I highly doubt they stole a 5 year olds story.
