I heard that part of it was filmed at camp Tawingo? witch is in huntsville wich would make sense?
shareThe camp is called Camp Mini Yo We (www.miniyowe.com).
shareCamp Mini-Yo-We in Port Sydney, Ontario..the camp still looks the same. except the windsurfing boards are now where the canoes are stored in the movie, as in the scene where the girls knock down the canoes. the cabins the girls stayed in were built on some extra land at the camp and were demolished after filming. the forest they run through is actually only about a 50 foot path and the girls just had to keep running back and forth. the office is the arts and crafts building. the bridge is, the bridge. the dining hall (or known at mini-yo-we as the lodge) was altered slightly for the film then changed back. the scene where mary-kate/ashley? is sitting on the rock and kirstie comes down to talk to her has since been built into "Campfire Point" and has lots of bleachers for nigthly performances.
clearly, i go to this camp and have for a very long time. haha.
and we sadly do not have horses :( although, the horse scenes were filmed at camp mini-yo-we. and none of this was filmed at Camp Tawingo; i have friends that have gone to that camp for many years as well and it was never apart of It Takes Two.
Yeah, Mini-Yo-We. The movie also makes that bridge to the Yo cabins look sooooo long, but it's not. >.>
