I know Roger Calloway is a very nice guy and good business man but he must be out of his mind for chosing a woman like Clarice! Clarice is a B-I-T-C-H! Did he notice how he was treating Alyssa/Amanda? Did he? She(Clarice) was terribly rude to her! They were both or three vying for the attention for Roger which is normal, but it was like Clarice was REALLY bent on taking away Roger from her! SHE WOULD'VE BEEN A TERRIBLE STEP MOTHER!!!!!!!!!!!! Well, at least Diane looked like that she was gonna beat the crap out of her in that wedding scene at the end of the movie when she was about to slap Alyssa.

Roger would have been lucky to end up with clarice. she was gorgeous. instead he is with a cow now. what an idiot.

He was with her because he was lonely, because she was very upper class and rich and good looking, and he felt her educated ass would be good for Alyssa. Poor man, he deserved so much more. Roger Callaway is a god.

He didn't know of her plans to sell the summer house he loved, or be distant from his daughter once they married, because she never mentioned it and, remember, whenever he saw the two together, she was always very polite to his daughter. He had yet to get a chance to see how impolite she was to others, too...marriage probably wouldn't have lasted if it'd taken place.

see thats something i dont get they rush to the church to stop the wedding cause they dont want him to marry this horrible women and yeah i know its a kids movie but this happens in other movies and stuff he would of seen how horrible she was and theres always divorce but i guess its just not as romantic :P great movie though was on foxtel few nights ago recorded it for myself and am now eating a big goey messy burger just cause i saw it
