It was released in theatres. It bombed big time though. However the video sales made up for it.

i was wondering because this vie seemed like it was a movie that was released in theaters but then i remember watching an interview and they said that New York Minute was gonna be there first movie that was actually released in theaters.

I saw it both in theatres then on video.

It was released in theaters, but like another poster said it bombed. My older sister took me to see it and I remember there were only around 20 other people in the theater.It was a big seller on video. I remember watching it the next year at school and then at a friend's birthday party.

I got this movie as a Christmas gift as a vhs but I eventually lost it and never seems to be on tv. On another note the dad's girlfriend plays a similar character on an abc family movie called Au pair.

In Theatres, in the fall of 1995. I actually saw it and have the video.WB released it with Rhysher entertainemnt.

It was released in theaters. I watched thanks to having a Sister who liked it and it has some decent enough laughs for a kids movie.
