Lindsay Lohan came along & remade it for the 3rd time.I prefer this one over that horrible remake any day.(this movie is basically the parent trap under a different name)

This is kinda liek the parent trap but not really, its same kinda story, except that the girls are not sisters in this movie.

Exactly, wolfpack. Which is why The Parent Trap is better, it came out first. This movie took the plot and changed the sisters from being strangers. The Parent Trap is better since they are twins and not indentical strangers. How many people have you met that look just like you? Oh and of course they both happen to have a man/woman to hook up with the other one. Wow, talk about the Parent Trap, nice rip off the Olsen's did.

I didn't care for the first parent trap as much, but between the second one and It Takes Two, I can't make up my mind which I like better.

Lindsay Lohan did the 1st remake, not the 3rd. So you caould say ITT was copying the original PT, put you could aslos say the remake is copying ITT

Actually, "The Parent Trap" is a very bad adaptation of a lovely book, "Lottie and Lisa". (I can't remember the name of the original German book but that's the name of the English version.)

"It Takes Two" sounds much more like an adaptation of "The Prince and the Pauper" than "The Parent Trap".

The German name of the book is "Das Doppelte Lottchen", which means "The Double Girls".

There was also a parent trap two , made in 1986. I think there was a tv version of the parent trap in the 90's aswell. So there have been afew more versions.

I saw an Oprah commercial once and the girl on it looked exactly like me. I was frightened.

LMAO horrible remake????? you must be in another universe... it is commonly accepted that lindsay's was AMAZING, esp. for a remake, and is even better than the original.

I don't know about it being better than the original. I guess it would depend on who you ask, but Lohan did a damn fine job with that movie. It was great, funny and entertaining.
