Well, I watched most of your video. I couldn't do it. You have OK screen presence and presentation... BUT...
10 - Rock - really? I personally dislike rock scoring but I know that certain styles of rock are associated with horror. The Main Title did not seem out of place in the film at all.
09 - Barcode - really? I guess all those 555 area codes must really cause you distress.
08 - Beginning - Rest is flashback... Familiar enough structure. I am untroubled. Sorry it bugs you.
07 - Sleazy lead - I don't find the character's flaws to be a problem.
06 - Linda Styles - Never bothered me as much as the writing. Her explanation of what appears to be going on in the Hotel room is a massive clumsy exposition dump and badly written... That sort of writing doesn't help make the actress look better. Kinda like crappy writing made Hayden Christensen look bad in Star Wars...
05 - Jigsaw - The cuts appear random and yet the pieces fit together. either there is some set of clues on the covers not shown to us or this is an example of the irrational taking hold in Trent... I always found the whole hidden map business pretty stupid in the way it was shown. I suspect it was not in early drafts and the covers were not designed in any way to support it - So what we see just looks crazy... But in this movie, that is not totally bad.
04 - Camera Lens - I don't recall this, but, as you say... It was probably intentional.
03 - Happy Dogs - I did not notice that. The sequence is clearly cut to avoid as many shots of dogs just standing around or not behaving fiercely... Remember the happy wagging dogs in Omen III? Now that looked a bit silly, these are dobermans - they don't have much tail to wag. And I bet that's intentional too.
02 - Car Entry - Are you fucking kidding me? A tight edit over his rolling her legs off the driver's side... OR - As you even show - She is not unconscious - she has the keys - So she probably rolled over there on purpose...
01 - Oh, just stop... Not that funny.
