BBFC's decisions still confuse
When I.D. was originally released in theatres and on video it was certified 18. Anchor Bay's new release is certified 15. Thinking a mistake was made I checked the BBFC's website and sure enough it's been reclassified on 26 April 2012 and certified 15 with no cuts made.

Knowing the BBFC statement: This work was passed with no cuts made isn't always reliable, I checked the run time and note the DVD runs a few seconds longer than the original release but that could be for a number of reasons (additional front and end title cards or original ones running slighly longer) so I dropped the BBFC a line and asked if any cuts had been made. Someone got back to my promptly and confirmed the film hasn't been cut.
With the BBFC waiving more cuts from films that's good news but I'm surprised this has been reclassified to a 15. I haven't watched it in a while but I remember it being very powerful in places. Definitely going to take a punt on the Anchor Bay release once I establish the transfer is anamorphic.
