Every time I see that bitch Regina King on TV, I think of that scene.

Every ridiculously improbable act of racism in the film, as well as every paranoid rant of the black protagonists cracks me up.

I remember going to see this in a predominately African American county in MD when it first came out. The whole theater was in an uproar when that line was said...but began to clap and cheer when Ice Cube dealt with the culprit.

he had no right disrespecting her the way he did. but she should have said Kristen didn't want to talk to him & hung up. that's what happens when ppl don't mind their business. blk ppl for yrs have thought it was their place to stand in front of whites & defend their battles.
