Did Remy have Asperger Syndrome?

I am thinking he did.

He wasn't good at socializing. When he tried to make a friend with another guy, he said something sex-related that wasn't right for the occasion. He didn't have any friends, and he allowed a couple of skinheads to control him.

Not necessarily. He was just a freshman at a university where he didn't know anybody. Some have a harder time making friends than others and it doesn't help having a guy racist against white guys as a roommate.

Nothing too complex about his character. A guy who has a hard time fitting in because let's face it...someone comes off a little odd or different and they are treated like *beep* He was just lonely and needed some good friends in his life. At that point in his life it never happened and made him feel very inadequate. He is for the first time accepted with open arms from these guys who say they will take care of him...respect him like a Brother.
Hard to turn down a friendship like that even if they are Nazi wannabe or whatever.
If he was stronger inside and truly "knew" the person that he was he could have overcome those obstacles of trying to fit in. The Hell with fitting in...be yourself and if no-one accepts you for who you are then that is their loss.
Wait...I think I am talking about myself here, lol. Never had the desire to become a skinhead and try and prove myself worthy by taking another person'd life without thinking about any consequences.

He was not dumb...again just weak inside and could never learn to love himself and just say to Hell with everyone else. Not all but many people in this World are so cruel. It is so sad.

I hate it when a character or even a real life person commits an atrocity and everyone has to attribute it to a mental health disorder as if people with Asperger Syndrome are more inclined to violence than everyone else. Some people are just socially inept or sheltered or have got a bad attitude.

Blaming Asperger Syndrome for mass shootings has become trendy these days, but that's not what I meant when I said he had Aspergers

I understand that, but I'd still argue that Remy's anti-social behaviour/difficulty making friends, problems that ultimately led to him becoming a killer, weren't necessarily attributable to any mental health disorder. Some people are just difficult and unable to make friends.
