living / staying in a haunted premise like Aidan Quinn character in "Haunted"...?

I must say the background of this movie (the mansion, the landscape and the location in England (was it shot in South England ? ) ) was very beautiful.

I always thought that the mansion has spoken for itself about the theme of this movie ie. it's a romantic and a supernatural (or horror) movie at the same time.

Yes, it was shot in England.

I stayed at a similar house in Cornwall once that was supposedly haunted! It was a very scary place to be if you went to the un-used corridors at night!

I have and the experience was a long long story that built from the innocent to the climactic, very much like a movie. I wrote it down on a message board once in it's entirety of what happened, sadly the message board is now gone.
