Help! I need SPOILERS

I saw this movie a few years back and for the life of me I cant remember how it ended. Last night it was on the CHILLER channel and I watched the first hour of it, then fell asleep.

This is driving me nuts, I cant remember how it ends.

Will someone please spoil it for me so I dont have to watch it a third time?

Thanks!

In the end, it turns out that they are all ghosts who died in the fire at Edbrook Hall. They kill Nanny Tess by al holding hands with her and spinning her round really fast until she dies. It's been a while since i saw it too but David gets away, but Christina turns up at the train station, and thats the end. Hope this helps!! Also, didnt know how much you remembered so sorry if i'm just telling you things you already knew!!

SPOILERS

I had a feeling I remembered the "twist" being that they were all dead.

I guess Nanny Tess was alive....til the end. I vaguely remember it.

At the end, when Nanny Tess told David that they were all dead, they all appeared and told of how Nanny Tess is the one who killed them by starting the fire. She said they deserved to die for the incest and after their mother killing herself after learning of it. I thought this was a great movie and very unexpected ending. Really great acting.

I just happened upon this movie on Chiller for the first time last week. I like Aidan Quinn and though I knew who Kate Beckinsale was, I never saw any of her work. But I got caught up in this movie. Great chemistry between them and I was thinking they were frauds posing as the children and thought the house was haunted by the mother but it really came as a surprise to me at the end. And that does shed light on the Nanny Tess character as she murdered them to begin with. I don't think those ghosts were as 'evil' with that fact! The incest thing was unsettling and that's why I thought they were frauds with that scene of David watching them kissing while painting. But this was a good movie and I'm a fan of Kate Beckinsale now.

I'm guessing CHILLER will play it again in the near future, and when they do I will have to watch the second half !

When they held hands and spun around really fast until Nanny Tess died was one of the dumbest scenes in this movie. It had potential to be somewhat good until that part. This ruined it for me.

Awesomeness: When I get sad, I stop being sad and be awesome again. True story.

Agreed. I turned it off at that moment.

I agree with all that too. I thought that they were going to open up the pit of hell or something in the circle; fire and brimstone. That's what it seemed like was going to happen, at least by the way the Nanny was yelling "NO!" but they played some fast game of ring around the rosey and killed her LOL! Yeah, pretty ridiculous.

Awful adaptation, but a good stand alone film
