know Christina (Bekinsale) was already dead?
It sounded like the woman fortune teller knew based on what she said: "there's nothing I can tell you that you don't already know." I'm not sure though, what do you guys think?
p.s. I thought this was a pretty interesting scene by the way.
Christina holds out her palm for it to be read, but when the old woman looks at the palm she recognises that Christina is dead. Hence she cannot tell Christinas future, because she has none.

Exactly. Looking back, this was perhaps one of the most harrowing scenes for me. A glacial chill ran up my back, and even Christina and David are unnerved by the old lady's words.
