I thought that the scene where David's in the gazebo trying to do an experiment to pick up any paranormal activity was scary!! You know when the ghost appears and is moving towards the lake? The wailing noises she made really freaked me out!!
Also, the scene where David wakes up with nanny tess leaning over him in bed is scary, when she gets lifted off her feet and pushed out of the room.

The scariest moments for me is when Juliet got killed at the beginning and she hit her head and then fell underwater the underwater part was really scary,I mean her eyes wide open under water that was just creepy.

Although I didn't find the movie to be too scary, that Dr. Doyle kinda freaked me out; especially the scene where he's walking through the smoke from the flash powder/camera "trap" David set-up in the hallway. Also, when David walks him to the room where Nanny Tess is trying to compose herself in the chair, and her reaction when he shows him (Dr. Doyle) in.

I never found this movie scary, not even a little bit, but whenever the Nanny was shown, it was absurdly creepy! I credit the actress for that, she was very good in this!
