Maybe it's because in this movie, the weather is warmer and he's in love with his wife.
"What time is Recess?"
no he looks different in the rest of his movies past Grumpy Old Men
shareIf you really look, he had gained a little weight. His face was rounder and more filled out.
shareThis could be due to a certain medication he was on? I dont know for sure but I`m just guessing cuz I hate to say it but in real life he was an old man and the elderly are usually medicated.
shareIt seemed obvious to me the first timre I saw "Grumpier" that Jack Lemmon had had a face lift. To ME he looked a lot better (more natural) in the original Grumpy Old Men
shareI thought he got fatter. You could tell he gained weight, most notably in the scene where he's naked.
shareDefinitely a face lift or at least an eye lift. In his movies before Grumpier, his eyelids drooped a little over his eyes. Droopy probably isn't the right word. Heavier maybe. Then in Grumpier, Odd Couple II and Out to Sea his eyes were much wider.
Maybe with his career resurgence due to Grumpy Old Men, he wanted to look a little younger.
He looked better before.
he was only 70 years old, and that is certainly not elderly.
shareI guess it's just me...but I thought Jack Lemmon looked OLDER in Grumpier Old Men not younger (as in he'd had face work done)....
