Was this movie as funny as the original?

As funny or more so. You can't have too much chemistry between two amazing actors like JL and WM, and to see them together in something like this, in the same premise as the first, was hysterical.

"For that, you sold your everlastin soul?"
"Well, I wasn't usin it."

Funnier!!

i found that grumpy old men was more serious than the grumpier old men.

if you thought the first was funny, you'll die laughing at the second

yes it was

When there's no more room in hell, The dead will walk the earth...

reply

Yes, but both still crack me up.

"That designated driver is hot! I'd like to get her drunk.."

reply

I have more nostalgic attachment to the first one but the second one is just as funny.

reply

I thought it was funnier. I really didn't care too much for the original, but this was a good comedy IMO.

reply

No contest. The first one was an original that could never be replicated. Like most sequels, Grumpier tries too hard and simply doesn't make it for me. Too ludicrous, and lacking the nasty edge of the first one.

reply

I think it is. I love both movies very much.

Jim Hutton: talented gorgeous hot hunk; adorable as ElleryQueen; SEXIEST ACTOR EVER

reply

I enjoyed both, but preferred the original.

reply

This is very good but lacks the charm and wit of the first IMO. The humour comes off as slightly forced in some areas.

Fly? Yes. Land? No.

reply

Without a doubt. Even the outtakes were better.

reply

Both are hilarious
