The thought of Walter Matthau getting all heated up to make passionate love to Sophia Loren makes me cringe. Ohh come on don't be so superficial!!! It's not so far fetched that two beautiful older ladies would go for men like John and Max. They were both nice older fellows who were kind, funny and loyal. Looks aren't everything -- personality is a whole lot more important. One scene Maria says one of her husbands had the face of an angel and look where it got her.
As for the sex part, don't be so mean. There's nothing wrong with older people having sex. It's completely normal, healthy and natural. Do you think you'll stop having sex just because you turn 60??? Don't be so silly.
