This one vs Grumpy?

When I was in my teens I liked this one more, but now in my 30's and find I like the original more. This one seems a bit more playful maybe while the original just has such a great story and Christmas feel. Anyway I watch Grumpy Old Men every December now. Both are great but this one scored really low on Rotten Tomatoes which is just insane to me. Why it only got a 17% on RT I'll never understand.

yes, I was suprised to see that low rating.

I'm watching this now for the first time since I saw it at the movies in 1995 and its a nice Saturday AFternoon flick.

Not as good as the original, but has its own spice with the legendary Sophia Loren, and good to see that Max gets the girl this time!

I prefer this one, although the first is a great film too. My only gripe with this one is they underused Ann-Margret. Sophia Loren makes up for it though.

Yeah it's not a 17%. The only knock against you could say it's the same as the first movie. Since it's set in Minnesota the seasons play a huge backdrop in both movies. The first being in the winter while the sequel is in the summer.
