Hey, wait a minute! Glow worm is another term for firefly, not the batch of larva shown in this movie. Big mistake, this stupidity ruined the movie for me.

thats the first ive heard of glowworms being fireflies. Fireflies are also called lightning bugs but not glow worms

Yikes people, do some research.
There are many insects categorized as glow worms, solely because they have some form of bioluminescence (there are several different kinds of bioluminescence).
Fireflies are indeed also known as glow worms as they of course start out as larva, but they are not the only ones. Some continue as beetles, others as insects that cannot fly (but are not beetles).
I am now watching this film for the first time, but have yet to see the scene about glow worms.
