Molly Morgan, Hero & Benefactor?

Can I assume I am correcting in guessing Molly Morgan really was there and did save Jodi and was NOT a figment of her imagination?! AND that she is the one who gave the girls the gold at the end of the movie?

I've tried being normal, but... I didn't like it very much.

More likely a descendant of Molly Morgan, maybe her daughter. Molly Morgan would be much too old to be running around the caves saving little girls.
