Weird experience...

I've never seen this movie except for one brief scene on TV back in 1995 where the 2 main girls are walking through some kind of wilderness setting. Yesterday I went on this board randomly and I saw the thread titled "lesbian subtext," although I didn't click on that thread or read any of it. Then last night I had a dream that I was watching this movie and it was a touching family movie about 2 girls forming a friendship in the mountains with an adventurous feel. Then they were sitting by a lake and out of nowhere they started passionately making out in a long scene. Then the short-haired one got up and started walking as the other (Ricci) followed and they kept talking like nothing had happened, and it wasn't being addressed at all in the next scenes so I was frustrated the filmmakers went that far in one scene then chose to ignore it, I was disturbed, so I turned off the movie. Then I woke up feeling weird about my bizarre dream. True story.
