Jack Frost

Does Anybody else think that this film is a bit like That other film Jack Frost with Michael Keaton, where the dad dies and comes back as a snowman? I saw this film first and when I saw Jack Frost, I could definately see a similarity in the storyline.

I think Jack Frost was OK in as far as Christmas - type family films can be. It wasn't as corny as Miracle on 34th Street.

Yeah, I thought of Jack Frost when I was watching it too. Both Dads die, both Dads are workaholics, both Dads have a young son, both Dads return in another body, both Dads watch over their families, both Dads recognise the error of their ways, and both Dads realise they have to leave. So.....yeah, similar :D I do prefer Jack Frost though, but I'm a sucker for a Christmas movie.

Yes, this reminded me of the snowman in "Jack Frost" also. Both films were kind of cute but also kind of creepy in that the fathers were reincarnated as non-human entities. At least this one was much cuter than that snowman with the spindly arms.

Yep, the two are definitely similar. Jack Frost was good, and I love Michael Keaton and Christmas movies, but I do think Fluke is the better film.
